Types of Wire Harness Injection Materials

There are four kinds of customized Wire Harness injection materials:

1.LD-PE inner mold material transparent color: mainly used for the inner mold injection of connectors, with good flexibility, extensibility, transparency, cold resistance and processability; its chemical stability is good, and it can resist acid, Alkali and salt solutions; good electrical insulation and gas permeability.

2.Various hardness PVC materials: mainly used in the outer mold injection of connectors. The material is relatively light, waterproof and moisture-proof. Unlike the plastics we see every day, PVC also has the characteristics of flame retardant and heat insulation. PVC material has stable physical and chemical properties, is insoluble in water, alcohol, gasoline, and has low gas and water vapor leakage; at room temperature, it can withstand any concentration of hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid below 90%, nitric acid 50-60% and 20% The following caustic soda solution has a certain resistance to chemical corrosion; it is quite stable to salts, but can be dissolved in organic solvents such as ethers, ketones, chlorinated aliphatic hydrocarbons and aromatic hydrocarbons; injection molding has a short production cycle and high productivity. Molding can produce plastic parts with complex shapes, high size requirements and various inserts, which are difficult to achieve by other plastic molding methods; secondly, injection molding is easy to automate in the production process, such as injection, demoulding, cutting and pouring. The operation processes such as injection molding can be automated, so injection molding has been widely used.
3.TPE material: mainly used in the outer mold injection of connectors, easy to process, high production efficiency, short molding cycle; relatively stable in nature, with good temperature resistance (use temperature range -50-100 ℃), aging resistance, chemical resistance properties, solvent resistance.

4.TPU material: It is mainly used in the outer mold injection of connectors. Its advantages are elasticity, oil resistance, low temperature resistance, wear resistance, and the advantages of both plastics and engineering plastics. Environmental protection is harmless to the human body and nature; hardness Wide range, by changing the ratio of each reaction component of TPU, products with different hardness can be obtained, and with the increase of hardness, the product still maintains good elasticity and wear resistance; high mechanical strength, TPU products have excellent bearing capacity, Impact resistance and shock absorption.
