Circular Connector

1. Definition
A circular Connector is a type of connector with a cylindrical basic structure and a circular mating surface. 2. Basic Structure
2.1 Contacts
The contact is the core part of the circular connector to complete the electrical connection function. Generally, a contact pair is composed of a female contact piece and a male contact piece, and the electrical connection is realized by inserting the female and male contact pieces.
2.2 Possession

3. Advantages
Circular connectors are ideal for connector applications that require stronger terminals. Their cylindrical shape makes them particularly resistant to mechanical turbulence and impact damage.
4. Disadvantages
The circular surface area limits the arrangement of pins and sockets on the surface of the circular connector; the connector with a rectangular surface can mount more contacts on a smaller surface area with larger and even spacing.
